Doodle is a great way to do quick quizzes or surveys of your students and not have it take up too much class time. I use Doodle quite a bit in my staff capacity to figure out when people can meet. It is much easier than sending out numerous emails.
I also can see Doodle being a great piece of software for students to use in research projects. I could see an instructor asking students to do a mini research project and they could use Doodle to collect the results and it analyzes it for you. It is also extremely easy to use so even the most inexperience technological student should be able to use it.
